How to have your data removed from Sales Desk.
If you used "Continue with Facebook" to connect your business
- Open Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites (Business integrations).
- Find Sales Desk and choose Remove.
- Facebook tells us automatically. We remove the data we received from your Facebook sign-in (your access token and list of pages) and Facebook shows you a confirmation code you can check on this page.
To also remove your staff account and your company's data from the service, ask your company's manager to close the account, or write to us.
If you wrote to a business that uses Sales Desk
Your messages and details are held for that business. Ask that business to delete them, or write to us at the contact details at davarmulk.com with the business's name and your phone number or Facebook/Instagram name; we will pass the request to the business and confirm when it is done.
What happens
- Personal details (names, phone numbers, Facebook/Instagram/WhatsApp identifiers, message text and files) are removed or anonymised within 30 days.
- Records that hold no personal data, such as counts in reports, may remain.
- Copies in backups are overwritten as backups rotate.
